Netgear C3700 Modem/Router

Is it possible to connect a Nighthawk WiFi router to my Netgear C3700 Modem/Router to improve WiFi connectivity speed throughout my two story condo. I tried an extender to no avail.

    Sorry the C3700 can not be used as a Access point.
