Netgear c7000
Hi! Im getting only 90 Mbps speeds on my Netgear C7000 modem and router. My internet service allows speeds upto 400 Mbps. Is there anyway I can get higher speeds?
Thanks,
Rajesh.

The C7000 is a modem/router?
Are you saying that you have a C7000 in front of another router?
Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local address problems. Among other things, the other router can misdirect addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.
This explains some of the other drawbacks.

Yes, the C7000 is a modem and router combined in one device. I don't have any other router attached to it.

So where are you measuring this 90 Mbps?

If all expert advices here still doesn't solve your issue, maybe, just change a cable?
I "had" a similar issue, then, realized it was my Cable issue between router to my desktop.
I replaced a new Cat6e and it is working fine.
