Netgear C7000v2 is not connecting to internet
Hi All,
I have C7000V2 and it stopped working for the past 2 days. I see my network name on all the devices but cannot connect to internet. The xfinity technician told me that there is no problem with cable and something must be worng with the modem/router.
Any suggestions?

Tell us more. What do the LEDs on the modem/router look like? The Internet LED?
Have you rebooted the C7000V2/?
How are up connecting to the router? Wired? Wifi?
Apologies for all the questions. But you can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:
Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)They are there for a good reason.
The xfinity technician told me that there is no problem with cable and something must be worng with the modem/router.They always say that when they don't have a clue.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - plemansGuru - Experienced User
Do you have a screensnip of the cable connections page and event logs?
Those help us check the lines and xfinity's first reponse is always "its not the line"- marunakumarAspirant
Thanks for the quick response.
Here are the screenshots.
I have restarted it several times and even reset it. When Xfinity technician used his own modem, it worked without any issue and hence he felt that the issue was with the modem.
Thanks again.

How do I get the event logs though?
