Netgear CG3000 cable modem/router loses WiFi configuration after power cycle
I have a Netgear CG3000 cable modem/router I got from my ISP, and about a week ago it started losing its wifi configuration after a power cycle or power outage. Doesn't matter how long is it switched off, or even if I just reboot it (not factory reset) from the config menu, it loses all the wifi settings and goes back to factory default. The internet settings stay intact, I can still connect to the internet using a cable, but I have to manualy reset the SSID and password for the wifi. I haven't changed any settings in the router's config or any other place. Do you have any idea what might be causing this and/or how to fix it?

Hello Szeki
You can try to factory reset the device see if that helps the issue. If not you may want to have the ISP swap it out may be defective as modems with cable company's get swapped from home to home all the time.

Hi Szeki,
I have EXACTLY the same issue. Did you manage to solve it?
