Netgear Genie 3700
Is it normal for one of my lights on my Netgear modem to turn amber and back to green??
The 2nd light after the power light is the one Im asking about. I dont believe that Ive experienced any outages or anything (Ive not lost my internet connection) as far as I know.
Just want to know if this is normal and if I should expect my modem to go out any time soon.
I have Windows 10.
I have an HP laptop
My ISP is Cox
And my I receive service via cable.

the light next to the power light turns amber and i lose internet then after a few minutes it comes back on

I would check your cords first it could be a cable splitter causing a issue may want to remove it or replace it and see if the connection is better also check with your ISP see if they see issues with the connection.
