NetGear NightHawk C7800

I just purchesed a Netgear NightHawk C7800 so that I can could get Gig Speed.  Not getting anything close VIA Hard Wired.  Wiresless ~400mbps.   Cable companly tested the line at the modem and I'm getting 1+Gig.   What Gives?  Router is not performing as expected...  I even went with a CAT6 Cable directly from Router to the computer and still no difference.  Yes, The Computer can handle Gig Speeds.

Anyone have suggetions?

    After changing speeds, did you factory reset the router? 

    Try resetting it. During the install, leave qos, parental controls, access control, and traffic monitoring all disabled. 

    Then test your wired speeds.
