New c7100v Nighthawk Router Has Major latency issues

Bought a C7100v Nighthawk Router to replace the one from comcast.  Browsing the inter net is ok, though ppages soemtimes take a while to load, but playing online games is terrible.  I have ping anywhere from 500ms to 1000ms making it impossible to enjoy.  I did a tracert to the servers of one of the online games i play, Diablo 3 in this case, and got this.

This is honestly rediculous, what could be casue this issue?
