Nighhawk, C6900 WiFi Cable Modem Router

Question on selecting which wifi I should select. On one channel I have a Netgear 5G and the other Netgear15-5G. Is it possible to change wifi from Netgear 15 to Netgear 15-5 without un-installing the product and reinstalling in order to switch? And what is the main difference of having 15 verus 15-5G. Is there an advantage.

    Using the modems web page with a browser you an change the wifi SSID name to be anything for each radio. Doesn't have to be the default SSID name that comes with the modem. Change it to your liking.

      It's not the name I want to change, it is the wifi settings. If the 15-5 g is faster or stronger, I would like to switch to it instead of staying with the 15g.

        You have to set you devices to connect to either wifi SSID name is all.
