What do you have connected to the WAN port on the CM modem?
What CAT# LAN cable are you using? CAT6A is recommended.
What does the user manual say for the MG LED on the modem.
FYI, CM series modems do not have any built in router or wifi support. There only modems. You'll need a external wifi router system to connect to the modem for wider use with wireless and wired devices.

If the multigig port is flashing amber, it indicates a 100 Mbps connection between router/modem.
You might check the cable and/or the router its connected to.
And like FURRYe38 says, its a modem only device. It has zero wifi capability.
