Nighthawk 1150v not compatible with Comcast cable TV

Advised by comcast that 1150v is not combatible with cable tv only voice and internet.  I think this should be clearly indicated on all information about modem. The current information indicates for Xfinity voice, the implication is that it would also be for cable.  Is there a fix or update that would fix this broblem?

Cable TV services required a separate Cable TV box connected to the ISP service. the CM1150v is a internet modem with phone support only. CM modems do not support any kind of Cable TV services. You have to get the cable TV service and hardware from your ISP whom supplys all that.

Thats because the CM modem doesn't have a router or any wireless built in. Again, CM modems are only modems. If you need wifi ability, you need a separate wifi router to connect to the CM modem.
