Nighthawk AC1900 C7000 random loses of configuration page

I have a C7000 Nighthawk, and I have an issue with it frequently.   When I go to log into it using either the Web Interface or the Genie software, I am unable to connect to the page.  I have to unplug the unit, then plug it back in to get it to reset.  Then I am able to log into it for a short amount of time.   Then the interface will go offline again and I will no longer be able to access it.  Netgear said that I would have to contact my cable company for a firmware update, but my cable company told me that I would have to obtain the firmware from Netgear and upgrade the unit myself since it is not owned by them.   Is anyone had this issue, and have any success in getting it resolved?

    Hello dwestonjr

Are you accessing this on a mobile device or a PC connected via ethernet? And all Firmware is pushed out by the ISP so no manual way to upgrade it.

I have attempted to use my browser on my pc, and I get "This page cannot be displayed" in IE, "The connection has timed out" in Firefox, and "

This site can’t be reached" in Chrome.   I also tried using the Genie App on my android phone and it says there is no connection.  If I unplug the unit, wait about 10 seconds and then plug it back in and wait about 2 minutes for it to come back online, I am then able to access the page from all devices.  After about a day or so, it will happen again and then I will need to reset.   I contacted my internet provider (Time Warner/Spectrum Cable) to see if they will supply a firmware update and they told me that they do not provide updates for Equipment that is not provided by them.  Since I bought this at a store and I own the unit, I would need to get a firmware update from Netgear and update the unit myself.  Any help of getting this issue resolved would be appreciated.
