Nighthawk and Orbi

Can the Netgear Orbi RBK50 be used with the Nighthawk C7000-AC 1900 Cable modem router? I have a 3 level home and the extender 6100 I used downstairs drops off. Thank you

or can I use

If you use orbi you can use it in AP with the C7000 or make the C7000 modem only.
