Nighthawk C6220 WiFi

Recently moved.

New provider came out to connect new service.

Internet is working, as demonstrated through the router's ethernet connection.

The WiFi does not engage. 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz lights are off.

I have read the user manual and looked online for solutions without success. I am needing assistance in layperson's terms please.

I do not currently have the capability to connect the modem-router to my laptop since I would need to purchase an ethernet cable adapter, but I am willing to make the purchase to troubleshoot if necessary, of course.

Additional note: Power light is orange.

Do I need a new unit or is there some type of fix?

Thank you in advance for your time and your help!!

usually a amber/red power light is a bad sign.

How do you know the internet is working if you can't hardwire into the device and the wireless isn't working?
