Nighthawk C7000
FYI, I'm not very experienced with this stuff at all. I recently got a Nighthawk C7000 router to replace my old comcast one. The wifi itself runs pretty well there isn't too much to complain about, but for my pc whenever I try and play any games my ping is now significantly higher (used to be in the 40s, now its usually at >100 at any time in the game). I've tried looking up how to change it and most of it usually leads me to messing with the QoS, but I can't find that anywhere in the Netgear genie. I've also tried port forwarding but I'm not too sure if I'm just doing it wrong or if that won't work either. Sorry if I sound foolish, but I'd really like to fix my ping issues. Also I should probably mention I use ethernet and TP link powerline adapters to get the connection to my bedroom where my pc is.

That's a cable modem/router. What else is on your network?

Did you reset these and set them up again from scratch when you replaced the modem/router?
