Nighthawk cax30 Control panel access failure.
I've successfully registered the MAC address with Xfinity and now have internet access, however 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1 and "routerlogin.net" do not work on ANY device. "Server not found" is all I'm...

Factory reset has worked for me with my CAX30 or 80 with one ethernet connected PC behind the CAX. MS Edge browser and navigating to 192.168.1.1.
If pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release and you can't get in at 192.168.1.1 after say 1 or 2 minutes after the modem comes to ready, try a 30-30-30 reset on the modem with out the ISP coax cable connected. Then try to access the web page. If you can then, reconnect the ISP coax cable quickly as the CAX may auto reboot if the cable isn't connected.

Yes. I read your messages. Factory reset will not work. I know, because, as I said, if you had read my post, setting it up via IP address and "routerlogin.net," were BOTH the VERY FIRST methods I attempted right out of the box. If it didn't work then, factory reset is not going to work now. This wasn't a used router, but brand new factory sealed in the box. I didn't even attempt to use the NH app until that didn't work to begin with.

Pretty odd that out of the box it actually needed this. Never seen that before with MANY routers over the past 25 years!
