Nighthawk CAX80 - stop rebooting
It’s a great modem but how do I stop the router/cable modem to stop rebooting if the isp is down. I have my own internal Plex that previous router/modem combo I could still use with DLNA but this one...
You can't. By design. Though I would agree, not a great one.
If your having issues on the ISP side of things, would be best to get the ISP to resolve that first off.
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

If the ISP is giving lots of problems frequently, then you might consider getting a external router that has DLNA support and set the CAX80 to modem only mode. That way if the ISP service keep going down, then you have a router that will maintain services with out the ISP issue.
