Nighthawk CAX80 conflicted
Good morning,
I am so confused as to what is happening with this cable modem router. While I am able to use wifi on my phone, computer, and laptop, and stream movies/shows, the nighthawk app says that the modem is offline. My home security system also is giving a notification that it is offline/no longer connected to wifi. I have rebooted the hub for my security system as well as the modem router several times (hoping for a resolution). I have checked settings on my phone as well.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting further? I am baffled and frustrated.....I have only had this modem router for 14 months!

what firmware version are you on?
Are you connecting with ipv6?
Have you tried using a different dns provider?

i am unable to see that in the app because the app continues to say offline.
as for the app itself that was recently updated.....is there another way to see firmware?
i have not tried another dns provider.....

Try logging in through the browser. I prefer that method to the app anyway.
