No internet connection with C6220
Mode: C6220
I replaced old cable modem with NetGear C6220 and registered the modem with Comcast and Comcast said the connection is good.
I browsed to http://192.168.0.1 and cannot setup. When it went to Netgear website, it always said "no Internet connection". All LED are solid green, except downstream LED is blinking.
any advice? Thanks.

Try a factory reset on the modem by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release. After all LEDs return, try the modems web page at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 with a ethernet connected PC and web browser.
Should be able to start the set up wizard there and complete it. If you get done with that, please post the following from the modem section:
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

If you're still in your return window, return the C6220. its an old Docsis 3.0 device that just 8x4 on the modem side. Netgear has end of life that a while ago

And I doubt xfinity will support it for long as it barely meets its minimum service specs. Its not even on their approved list at all anymore.
i'd look at xfinity's device list and shoot for a recommended device versus one that is that old.
