No longer supported on my AC 1900, is it secure?
I'm using a C6300BD on Cox cable and I can no longer log in to change the channel or router settings. I see a device that I can't identify on the wifi network. It's showing as a Unix readyshare. I'm ...

Hello Fladave
If you no longer can log in I would suggest factory reset the unit by holding the reset button for 10 seconds. It should go back to default login and then you can set up the modem again.

Hi,
I did what you said but with the same results as before. The message appears in red above the log-in area: NETGEAR router is not found or is not supported. Also make sure the device is not connected to the guest network of the router, and no IPv6 is enabled.

Hi again Darren,
I was able to log in after noticing that the IP address that my modem was using was not the actual IP address of the unit. I clicked it at different times and found two different addresses in the bar that were not the actual IP address. Once I manually entered the correct IP address I got in but I still couldn't shake the user that I can't identify. I tried changing channels but the device continued to follow. I attempted to change bands but wasn't able to get switched over as the unit wouldn't let me use the password that I believe is correct. Could this other user somehow have my info or block me from doing whatever to keep him away?
