Operating Temperature Of The C6220?

What is the operating temperature range of the AC1200 Cable Modem Router C6220?

It is HOT to the touch! 

I would like to add, no the Power light indicator is not blinking red. 

Just concerned about why it is so hot the touch and how normal it is.

    1. Netgear Cable modem/router has safety feature (Thermal cutoff feature) that will cut off the power to the unit when it is too hot. (only Cable products have this safety feature)
    2. Make sure the unit is in a well ventilated area. Avoid putting it in an enclosed area. .
    3. Most cable products are designed as vertical orientation, make sure users put them in vertical position. (C6220 is the only horizontal oriented cable product)

     

    Also, the operation temp on all Netgear cable retail products is 0 - 40C
