Orange light on modem
Hello everyone,
There is an orange light on my upstream channel. After checking with support and my cable company, my internet has been fine(as opposed to going in and out). Shuld I be concerned about this orange light? When I google this it seems like I may need an update? If anyone has any thoughts, ideas or answers on this, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you in advance for your help.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

When the light is amber (orange?) its indicating only 1 downstream channel is locked.
That'll lead to a pretty unstable or slow connection.
Check your line for damage, corrosion, bad/old/loose/cheap connections and replace them if you do.
Preferablly move the modem to right where the coax comes into the house and direct connect it with no splitters, amplifiers, or signal attenuators.
then check your cable connections page and event logs and post them here.
