Orbi Router rbr50 and cm1000v2 modem

I can no longer open modem login window 192.168.100.1

i own the modem and router isp is Comcast/xfinity. This just started a few days ago.

if I factory reset the Orbi router I can then log in to the modem page, but after I log out the page 192.168.100.1 just times out.

rebooting the modem, and router does not help only resetting it.

is Comcast doing something new that keeps me from viewing my modem stats, or is it a Orbi/Armor setting?

    Have you powered OFF the CM modem and RBR for 1 minute then back ON with the modem first then RBR?

     

    Might try disconnecting the RBR and connect one wired PC to the modem, power OFF then back ON...can you access the modem then?

      Yes, I’ve reset the modem, powered everything off, back on, but that didn’t work. Only resetting the router worked, but after I logged off couldn’t get the Netgear modem sign in window again.

      im on a IPad so can’t connect directly to the modem and my lap top doesn’t have Ethernet. I will have to get a usb to Ethernet adapter for that to rule out the modem blocking the site.

      im wondering if Comcast is doing something, or something changed in Armor???

        Try disabling Armor on the Orbi system, when it's disabled, power OFF the modem and RBR for 1 minute then back ON. Check to see if you can get access to the modems web page...
