Enable Password Recovery

*=required information ok so this is the page i am referring to and it won't take any old password i put in and this is after I did a factory reset (model# not shown in drop down=WNR 1000v4) the reason i did a factory reset was because no matter what answers i put in on the orignal questions it would not accept it and i know the answers were correct. what do i do on this page to reset my password??

    Hello sunywoman

     

    When doing the factory reset make sure you hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds to make sure it wipes all the old settings.

      Why do I need to do a factory reset in order to change the password? What password should I use after the reset?

        By the way, I am running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3. FYI.
