ProSAFE Plus Configuration Utility for MAC

Hello,

I am trying to find out the IP of my switch. I need to access the menu to disable the IGMP snooping. The DHCP has given my switch another IP and the default one is not working.

Have a Mac and the Prosafe software is Windows only....

Please advise

Then ask your (unspecified) DHCP server for a report on its clients,
and see if you can identify your "my switch" in that list.

Then, when you have a little time, you might give your "my switch" a
fixed IP address,  so that you'll know where to find it without having
to do this search.  That could be a static address (configured on your
"my switch"), or a reserved dynamic address (configured on your
    (unspecified) DHCP server).

am trying to discover the IP address using fing.

I have over 30 devices on my network and everything is just listed as generic.

Is there a Prosafe Configuration utility for the Mac? - would that be able to locate my netgear devices?

Does that mean that you didn't "ask your (unspecified) DHCP server
for a report on its clients"?

Is the MAC address of the switch printed on its product label?

All I know is what it says in the Installation Guide (visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
        Documentation):

Note: The configuration utility is installed on your computer and
              is only supported on Windows.

There are ways to run Windows on a Mac, but I'd be looking for a
simpler/cheaper way.  For example, I might disconnect the switch, and
see which devices disappear.  Then reconnect the switch (only, without
its attached devices), and see what appears.  In some cases, a MAC
address can be tracked back to an equipment maker, using a Web sithe
        like: https://macvendors.com/
