    Thank you Antinode for taking your time to answer my query with your valuable information.  I was certain it would work but I just wanted to be sure of it.  I ordered the C7000 and its on its way.

I must be missing something Ngk222.  I haven't read any posts in my travels of people regretting this modem/router.  Xfinity and other cable providers approve it so I wonder why they would if there are issues.

    Its even more funny that "random" people have a vendetta against Netgear and take every opportunity slam them.  These "random" people have nothing else to offer.
