Random issues with C6300
First... I want to take just a monent to state just how bad Netgear support is. They suck!. Had a little joint call with them and Comcat going. Netgear hung up. Then after all the verification you had to do when first calling in (including phone number) they didn't bother calling back. What a great company!
Spent well over an hour on the phone giving names, serial number, model numbers and never even got around to the problem. What a bunch of jerks!
So... since Netgear is absolutely clueless and offer no support does anyone know why I can't connect to Comcast with this C6300?

What issues are you seeing with the modem what lights are on or blinking?

It won't connect to Comcast. Downstream is solid but the Upstream and Internet alternate between flashing and going out. Here is the funny yet really sad part. I finally got a conference call going between a tier 2 Comcast agent and a tier two Netgear agent. Netgear is telling Comcast that they need to upgrade the firmware on it and Comcast is replying that they don't upgrade firmware on other manufacture's modems. Of course the Netgear dude was speaking Hindi and the Comcast dude was speaking Korean. I was rolling on the floor laughing. Poetic justice. Two big companies, neither of which hire English speaking emploees or offer any kind of tech support, going at it in languages that the other doesn't understand. Neither company is worth a damn but it was funny. I am now the owner of a $200 paperweight.
