RC6300 loses all connectivity
I've been having this problem almost on a consistent basis now. After a few hours of starting up my computer and getting on steam, chrome, overwatch etc, I will lose the 2.4 and 5 channels and won't see them in my WiFi. At first I believed it could be my network adapter but turn to my phone and tried connecting to the WiFi there. No luck on my phone and it's as if the channels were removed from the router. I do a power cycle and that usually solves the problem 75% of the time but that's not the point though. I don't want to have to keep resetting the router everyday at least once a day. My network adapter is a TP Link one, Netgear router firmwave update is V2.01.18 and I am using Windows 10.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be a setting in my IC Realtime DVR for my security cameras. When I contacted IC Realtime they helped me change a couple of settings and I've had no issues since.

Unfortunately, I do not have an IC Realtime DVR. I recently bought an Almond + as a range extender hoping maybe that will help the situation. I also noticed that it seemed to happen mostly when I was using Steam and/or when my friend(s) would watch my game.

Hello actual_neptuna
Have you tried to set the router to be on a single channel and not on auto?

Yes, I have my 2.4 and 5 Ghz set to a single channel. I tried switching it up thinking maybe that could help. I recently bought the Securifi Almond + Router/Access Point and Range Extender in 1. I heard great reviews of it from the Time Warner technician that frequented my house back in 2016 so I thouight I'd get it a shot. I have it set to a Range Extender for now and haven't seen any problems yet. My friend suspected Steam might've been responsible for my connection dropping specifically when he would watch my game via Steam Broadcast. It happened twice in a row after power cycling but I disregarded it as a potential cause.
