I'm also having the same issue with my CAX80 (see thread with the same topic) where the OP marked the solution as using a custom firmware of version 2.1.5.2. Picture texts over wifi aren't going through and am also having issues uploading files.

Has anyone else applied this fix or have a copy of the modified firmware?

Other user posted they contacted NG support and got it from them.&nbsp;

Netgear support insists there is no beta or custom firmware for the cax80. They had me change my DNS which didn't help.Netgear, can you connect me to L2 support?

Did you ever get this resolved? Netgear support states that FW 5.1.1.2 no longer exists and continue to close my cases without a solution.

Short Message Service (SMS)Rich Communication Service (RCS)Multimedia Message Service (MMS)&nbsp;&nbsp;In the not too distant past, my cell phone provider, Xfinity, changed their text message service.&nbsp;When your cell phone is connected via Wi-Fi, the only text message service that will work for free is SMS.&nbsp; That means send/receive text only.&nbsp;When you try to send/receive either RCS or MMS text messages (with photo files, sound files, etc.) you must turn on cell data, so it gets charged against your data plan.
