Replace Qwest Q1000 modem with NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi Cable Modem Router?
Will the Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WIFI Cable Modem Router replace my Qwest Q1000 modem without any problems?

You need to ask your ISP to check to see if it's officially supported on there network. If it is, then you'll be fine.
Review the C7000 spec sheet for details to compare agains the Q1000:

modem+router "without any problems"?No.
Why do you want to replace your Q1000?
Note that "Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WIFI Cable Modem
Router" is not a model number, and your "Qwest Q1000 modem" is actually
an Actiontec Q1000 modem+router.https://www.centurylink.com/home/help/internet/modems-and-routers/actiontec-q1000.html
Yes, CenturyLink calls it a "modem", but it's a modem+router.

Just as useful as the "ask your ISP" advice. Thanks for the clutter.I'm not very tech minded when it comes to these things, but I thought I need to upgrade my modem/router because of all the equipment we now have in the house that needs wifi. Door bell, games, computer, ipad, etc.

it wont work. Dont buy C7000.
Qwest modem is "DSL modem".
C7000 is a "cable modem"
two different technologies.
if you get on xfinity Comcast then C7000 will work.
