Router mode is always "no"

Symptom: Router only allowed one device connection in each time rebooting router.

This symptom started from 5/3/2016. ISP is Mediacom.

I did following steps.

  1. I reboot router several times.
  2. Ipconfig command shows different gateway IP address each time (192.x.x.1, 176.x.x.10, and etc).
  3. I can only access admin page when router IP address is 192.168.100.1.
  4. Routing mode is always “no” I changed option to “yes” then router is rebooted. The routing mode is still “no” option.

Please help.

    Hello khkim

Have you tried to do a factory reset buy holding the reset button on the back for 10 seconds? also you may want to contact your isp there system could be sending the modem a bad config file may want them to send some signals and reboots to the modem.
