Router Modem Combination
Bought AC1900 router for new Xfinity internet service without realizing I also needed a modem. Internet speed 75 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up. Usage consists of some web surfing and email + a stream for a couple of Amazon Fire TVs.
Assuming a simple, inexpensive modem is needed - thinking CM400-1AZNAS will get the job done without impacting the internet speeds. Any advice is welcome...
There is another list here. It may not be, however, an official list.

It woud be best for you to purchase one of the modems recommended by Xfinity (link).

Thanks for responding so quickly.
Unfortunately the Xfinity approved equipment page displays all router/modem combinations (C7000, C6900, C6300) - does not list any modems only. It does list gateways (C3000v2, C3700, etc...) which I don't know what that equipment is or how it relates to my modem needs.
