Security Cameras

Hi

I have a net gear C6300.  Im using wifi set at 2.4G

i have bought 2 different security cameras neither will connect.  Both supports claim its my router

 

1 was a Guardzilla

2 was a Guardcam

 

do only certain cameras work with Netgear?

    Hello Mrkip 

     

    There should be nothing the router is doing to block these cameras. Im not familiar with those 2 cameras but have you looked to see if any type of port forwarding needs to be used for these to work.
