singal levels


So are my power levels to high? A tech today removed a splitter outside and it has gone up from 6.0 dbmv to this.... the online support said it was high now they people on the phone are acting like this isn't a problem lol... CM 700, Thanks in advance !

     Channel 17 correctables and un-correctables should show same as the other channels as well.

     

    Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
    Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
    Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 
    Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
    From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
    Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
    Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

      Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.

        I thought so but anytime i tell them or mention they ingore me. i have a fcc ticket open but i aint getting no where. also at random times i have ping spikes to my modem go to like 200+ ms randomly and i see alot of jitter in my connection, they found alot of leaks at the pole and the neighbours house, but i just got off phone with lady said they sat at the node for 4 hours and didnt see one problem which is bs lol
