Slow Speeds - Xfinity Gigabit Internet
Looking for help:
Since i upgraded to gigabit service with xfinity, I haven't topped 100mbps download speeds. I'll provide my cable connection stats below to see if someone can provide input. After researching for hours, I've realized that majority of my connections are pretty good. The only thing that sticks out is the correctable Downstream OFDM Channels. I don't really understand what that means, I'm just trying to figure out the culprit of the slow speeds (wiring of my house or a technical issue that can be resolved with Xfinity/Netgear support)

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.- plemansGuru - Experienced User
How are you testing this?
do you have a pc hardwired into the modem?
What pc is it? Is it a gigabit pc?
Have you checked the cable to ensure it supports gigabit? standard cat5 doesnt. Cat5e does
What site are you speedtesting on?
I've had the isp provision a modem wrong. Might be worth checking with xfinity to ensure it has the proper provisioning.
