still unable to set time zone in modem
time is wrong in the modem. you can try to blame the isp but that is not the issue becuase when using spectrums modems the time is correcdt.. the problem is you need to allow us to set the time zone ...

The isp controls the firmware. Netgear can send them updates to the firmware but if the ISP doesn't implement the firmware, netgear can't force them. Who knows, maybe Netgear did implement a fix but the ISP hasn't rolled it out.
If you're wanting control over the clock, that'd be a feature suggestion and better suggested under the idea exchange.
