       I see some possibilities:

       1.  You could post a rant, complaining about how Netgear is complying
with its stated support and warranty terms, which, I'd guess, were
    disclosed on the box.

       2.  You could pay for Netgear support.

       3.  You could pay for third-party support.

       4.  You could provide a useful problem description in some appropriate
user forum for a C6250, and perhaps get an answer at no additional cost.

          https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/bd-p/home-cable-modems-routers

       5.  You could call a psychic hot-line, and provide no useful
information there, either, and perhaps get lucky.

There may be others.  You seem to have chosen option 1.

       Tell someone who cares?

Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Begin with the Quick Start/Installation Guide.

There may also be some helpful videos on what to do.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
