The router will not fully restore after internet service is disrupted and restored.
I have now had the same problem with two different CAX80's at two different homes. The router will not fully restore after internet service is disrupted and restored. Currently I am trying to fix one remotely. It will connect to a Home Assistant device that's hard-wired to the router, but Wifi completely does not work. Last time I fixed this, I had to reset the router and reconnect almost all wifi devices. Internet service itself was OK. I am able to reset the modem/router remotely using either Xfinity or the Netgear Nighthawk app, but nothing will restore wifi; nor can I connect to the router itself remotely to see if there are issues with the settings.
The reason I bought the CAX80's in the first place was to be able to reset both modem and router remotely (not just the modem); but this is worse than the prior state with a separate cable modem.

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Also if you can get the modem factory reset and setup from scratch fully, would be good to have a saved backup configuration file. I did some more digging and found a solution; sharing, in case anyone else has this problem.
I read reports from some others that there have been instances where the CAX80, upon being reset following an internet outage, reset the Wifi SSID to "Broadcom." I was able to access the router remotely using the Nighthawk app, which would show a HomeAssistant server (hard-wired) as connected, but no Wifi devices. I checked, and it showed that the SSID's had been reset to "Broadcom." I was able, using the Nighthawk app, to reset the Wifi SSID and passwords to what they should be; and following a reset, the Wifi devices were able to connect once again.
While this workaround does solve the problem, it's still a bug (something for Netgear to look into) that the restoration of an internet outage can cause the SSID to change to "Broadcom."We'd need the requested information that was asked for.
