Trying to get my modem(CM500)hooked up to internet

I was told by my cable/internet company I need to set up my modem with my username/password they gave me. Sat on the phone waiting for tech support for a hr. HELP

    who is your ISP?

     

    if you have DSL ISP, then CM500 will not work.
