Two cable modem routers one one line
I have a new C3700. It works great in my office but not so good in my wife’s office across the house. Can I get another C3700 and put it in my wife’s office. We have one Comcast account and one cable coming into our house. Will there be problems with Comcast and will it work.

No, it won't work. You'd have to have a 2nd account from comcast.
You'd be better to try a powerline device, moca adapter (ethernet over coax), a wireless extender, or even a wireless mesh system for better coverage.

Or a plain-old Ethernet cable, without all the costly accessories, if
that's practical.
