Unable to be extend C3000 Netgear wifi network

I have purchased a new router and wanted to connect the new router to my device. But whenever I connect the new router, it doesn't get any signal. My device has modem + router, so I tried disabling my router but it didn't work. Tried reseting both devices.

Any help is highly appreciated!

My device info:

Netgear, N300 Wifi Cable Modem Router

Model - C3000

New Router info:

Sagemcom

model - 5260CV

So you tried putting your C3000 in modem mode?  did you reboot it afterward?

with your sagemcom you stated you were unable to "get any signal".

Are you sure its a problem with the netgear device?

Can you put the C3000 in modem mode and connect a computer to it and get a signal? If so, it's working appopriately.

Once you have the c3000 in modem mode (with a fresh reboot), then try to setup the sagemcom. I'd start with a fresh reset of the sagemcom as well. I can't help you set that up as I'm not familar with it.

      I followed below steps:

      1. Put device in modem mode

      2. Reboot the device

      3. Internet work on the computer via LAN cable from the modem

      4. Connected LAN cable from modem to the new router, but no single

      not sure what to do.

Is "my device" your C3000?  Why?  Do you want to replace the
router/wireless-network parts of the C3000 with the
router/wireless-network parts of the 5260CV, or did you want to keep the
router/wireless-network parts of the C3000, and use the 5260CV to extend
        your wireless-network coverage, or what?

        > [...] But whenever I connect the new router, [...]

"connect the new router" how, to what?  Hint: If a device has
multiple Ethernet ports, then "connected to device" is not enough
        detail.

        > [...] it doesn't get any signal.

I don't know what that means to you.  As usual, showing actual
actions with their actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...)
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

        > [...] My device has modem + router, so I tried disabling my router but
        > it didn't work. [...]

"tried" or "didn't work" is not a useful problem description.  It
does not say what you did.  It does not say what happened when you did
it.  See "As usual, [...]", above.

        > 3. Internet work on the computer via LAN cable from the modem

So, the C3000 is working in modem-only mode?

        > 4. Connected LAN cable from modem to the new router, but no single

A Netgear forum may not be the best place to get advice on
configuring a Sagemcom 5260CV.  Have you found any documentation (set-up
instructions, for example) for the 5260CV?

        > 1. Put device in modem mode

           Is "device" your C3000?

Another possibility would be to leave the C3000 as a modem+router,
and configure the 5260CV as a wireless access point.

        > not sure what to do.

I'm not sure what you want to do, but getting a user manual for the
5260CV would seem to be a good way to start.
