Unable to update cable modem firmware
I purchased the AC1900 C7000v2 cable modem for use with Spectrum Internet a few years back. Everything has worked fine until a few days ago. My instincts told me to update the firmware (currently V1....
Cable modem routers aren't user updatable. Its part of the docsis spec.
The isp gets supplied the firmware but its up to them to certify it and push it out.
You can compare you're current version to what the isp supports.
Or you could go more into details on the actual issue you're having (not updating firmware) and we can see if we can help you.
