Unsubscribe modem registration.
Does anyone know how I can unsubscribe the registration of my netgear modem ?
I bought one seconde hand but can not use the anywhere access option because I need to register the modem to my account but it is already registered to the former owner who I don't know.
I asked the Netgear support for help but I might as well don't ask anything because I haven't had the pleasure of receiving a reply .... ever.
So I am stuck and hope someone can help me out.
I am also wondering if this is the normal way Netgear customer support works because this is for sure not how I think support should be.

Well, I think you didn't read right.
This product is NOT in my account as I bought it second hand.
So I can not unregister it, it is in the account of the former owner.
It must be unregistered from his/her account so I can register it to my account.
For the contact pages, this is exactly what I did multiple times, even with reading confirmation but never a reply.- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
