Upgrade recommendation

Question

WNDR4500v2 N900 Router is 7 years old, time for much needed upgrade!

Needs:

Good range, large 2 story house with router located in basement.

Devices:

2 internet streaming tv's, Xbox, multiple iphones and ipads, a few smart home devices.

Please advise!

I already have visited that web page, after checking the appropriate boxes it still leaves me with 20+ choices...

I would find something that best suites your needs, devices and has some room for future growth.

Hard to make some suggestions since users needs and use differ. Why there is wide range of routers available for users needs. Kind of up to users to find what best suites there needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Take in to account house size, building materials and surroundinds will effect wifi coverage and performances.&nbsp;Take in to account what devices you have and what you do with them as well. Types of uses are gernal internet useage, gaming, video streaming, camera operations and new IoT devcies like Echo Dot and such.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lots of considerations and factors to think about to decide what kind of router system you want and need.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
