Using 2 modem / router combos. C7000

Okay so how can I explain this. I have 2 cable modem / router combos. One was the DGND3700v2 which I had for my DSL and I just got the c7000 for my cable internet that I have now.

 

What I want to be able to do sence the DSL is just sitting around, i'd like to at least use the ports for LAN.

 

I don't know if I can use them together, but if I can't i'd like to use just the ports for the LAN.

 

If this is possible what are the steps to do it? I am not using it, and I feel the product is just wasting, so it would be cool to use it for something.

       It should be possible to use the DGND3700v2 as a wireless access
    point.  Some newer router models have a one-step option to enable this
    mode, but not the DGND3700v2, so you'd need to do it the old-fashion
    way, as described in the following thread (for a C6300, but the
    principles are the same for the DGND3700v2):
