Using AC1200 C6220 as an Access Point

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to use this modem/router as an access point for another modem?

I was trying to mess around in the settings but I was having trouble finding an option for this.

Is it possible?

Thank you,

Brandon

I wouldn't expect to find one, but that may not be fatal.  See, for
    example:

          https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1463500

That's written for a Netgear C6300-as-WAP, but the steps are about the
same for any other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP
option.  (Especially similar for another Netgear Cxxxx.)

       Nothing to do with anything?

Hey sir, now my IPv4 Address of the PC connected directly to the C6220 is the same as the external ip address. I cannot connect to 192.168.0.250 from my PC connected directly to the C6220. I can't connect to 192.168.0.1 either.

But when I connect my laptop to the C6220 (working as an access point) through wifi, I can access both of these. It works with ethernet too. What's wrong with my computer?

      Thank you

What did you do?  What, exactly, did you connect to what, exactly?

What is your "another modem"?  If it's really a _modem_, and does not
include a router, then I'd expect problems.  If you expect to connect
multiple client devices to your ISP, then you need a (NAT) router of
some kind, not only a WAP.  And, as a general-purpose router, a model
Cxxxx is useless; it has no Ethernet WAN/Internet port.

I'd guess nothing, other than to what you connected it.
