Using Nighthawk web app to turn off wireless radios
I'm trying to turn off the wireless radios on my CAX80 using the Nighthawk web app. The support chat system says I should go to Advanced > Setup > Wireless Setup and then "Uncheck the Enable Wireles...
The router is in an inconvenient location which is why I was trying to following the User Manual instructions for turning off the radios through the Web UI.
Removing the check mark from the box next the ENABLE SSID BROADCAST disables the wifi radio. There will be one for the 5Ghz radio as well.
Thank you. Are you sure that is correct? According to the manual, it seems that unchecking the "Enable SSID Broadcast" just disables the broadcast of the network NAME, so that it will be a hidden, but still functioning wifi network:
