Using Nighthawk web app to turn off wireless radios
I'm trying to turn off the wireless radios on my CAX80 using the Nighthawk web app. The support chat system says I should go to Advanced > Setup > Wireless Setup and then "Uncheck the Enable Wireles...

Removing the check mark from the box next the ENABLE SSID BROADCAST disables the wifi radio. There will be one for the 5Ghz radio as well.

Thank you. Are you sure that is correct? According to the manual, it seems that unchecking the "Enable SSID Broadcast" just disables the broadcast of the network NAME, so that it will be a hidden, but still functioning wifi network:

The manual is correct. Turning off SSID broadcast does not disable the radio. At one time (years ago), some people recommended hiding the WiFi SSID as a form of security. In addition, it is a useful tool when connecting IoT devices with poorly written smartphone software. Not broadcasting the 5G WiFi SSID allows users to "forget" their WiFi SSID. When they connect again, the only SSID that will appear is the 2.4G SSID, and the smartphone will connect to it. After the IoT gizmo is working, the 5G SSID can be turned back on again.
Is that screen shot from page 55 of the User Manual? (Advanced Setup). It is really annoying when Netgear's User Manual does not match the actual device.

The two screen shots are from my Nighthawk Web UI. There is no "Enable Wireless Router Radio" box to check or uncheck on either the Basic or Advanced Wireless Settings pages.
