VPN into home network with C7000
I bought the C7000 recently, which I believed was an R7000 paired with a cable modem. Works great and I get excellent speed. I saw that the R7000 is able to set up a vpn server, but the c7000 seems to be lacking that option. So what gives? Am I missing something or is it just not possible to do with this model?
Thanks for your help!

Hello, I also have this question and thanks for the answer. Is there any type of alternative we can use? I am a newby with routers and just want to make it a little more secure since I run my business through it

Hello JohnnyNash
you may have to look into business routers if you are trying to do a VPN server but home routers can be used as clients.

- Thanks for the reply Darren, just saw it today.
JohnnyNash, I bought a cheap $35 router that has vpn capabilities. Connected it into my C7000 and set up a forwarder for VPN traffic. Works like a charm once you get all of the routing setup, but does require a 2nd device which is eating up power and a wall outlet. While I was doing that I noticed many features the c7000 lacks.
