Wanting an Update for C3700

Hi All!

I've tried updating via the examples online/YouTube with zero luck. We have TWC (Time Warner Cable) and ever since we moved out here the internet has been horrible. I of course call to complain, they could careless. They said it's not them it's the Netgear Router (Brand new). They didin't want to help because it wasn't there equipment and suggested that we lease one from them...lol nope.

Anyways, the internet connection is horrible as statemented before. Is there a simple link that I can click on that will update the firmware? Something like Plug n play...because I did find an update but it was in some "alien language" lol geeky/computer talk. I need simple step by step instructions vs crash and burn lol :)

If there's a way for anyone to please help me, I'd be forever grateful! :smileyhappy: Thank you in advance for your time.

Even though you bought the modem the cable company still does all the firmware pushes to the modem so when they update the firmware all you would have to do is reset the modem and it will update. But if your getting a bad Internet connection do you have a splitter hooked up to the modem if so try removing it and plugging the coax straight to the wall see if that improves the connection.

Thank you for your time DarrenM! Seems very simple to do/understand...dunno why TWC couldn't just tell me that vs pushing the blame off on Netgear/trying to coax us into leasing a unit...knowing we bought one new. I'll give this a try and hope either or works :)

      Thanks again!!!
