Wifi Continuously Drops

Hello,

I have had this router for about 8 months now and recently it has started to drop the Wifi. My desktop is wired and it doesn't seem to have any issues. However, all my wifi devices will continuously drop off the network. At times the devices won't even show the network as an option to connect to. I can watch on my Iphone where my network will be discovered, I can connect to it and with will disappear all within a few minutes. The firmware is up-to-date.  If any other info is need please let me know. Thanks in advance

You have the R6300v2?  (because you posted in the modem/router combo forum and not the router forum)

    What firmware is on it?

do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs?

You have lots of correct and un-correctables that should be near zero.

Check your connectors on the coax line.

Make sure there isn't any splitters on the line up to the mode. If one is needed, ensure a good quality one is used.

You have lots of criticals in the events as well.

The ISP needs to check the service line and signal up to the modem.

Be sure your using good quality RJ6 coax cable.

Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.
